Lions Peak specializes in products
and services dedicated to improving the performance of Fabless
The Founding Team
Nearly 30 years of forecasting, supply chain
management, manufacturing and information technology expertise focused in
semiconductor and high-tech. Pat has taken organizations from inception to
maturity, leading and managing hyper growth and change. A proven track
record for defining and delivering organizations and solutions that
produce sustainable competitive advantage in customer satisfaction,
operations execution, speed, performance and cost management.
Led major, next generation efforts in Customer Order Management,
Manufacturing, Forecasting, Planning and Control, Manufacturing Process
Technology, WW Distribution Operations and Global Supply Management at HP
An early adopter of electronic commerce as VP of Supply Management at AMD,
he later led Ariba’s Network Markets and Supply Alliances groups. As
President and CEO of SpinCircuit his organization made inter-enterprise
Design for Supply Chain a reality for the electronics industry.
The Lions Peak mission is to capitalize on this background and deliver
breakthrough performance in one of the world’s most complex value-adding
networks or supply chain.
A frequent speaker at supply chain forums, he is an APICS CPIM, and a
member of the Institute of Supply Management and the Council of Logistics
Pat has a BS in Economics and a MBA in Operations Management and
Information Systems from Santa Clara University. He currently serves as an
advisor to the Center for Logistics Management at the University of
Nevada, Reno and the Leavey School of Business at the Santa Clara. He has
recently been appointed the Executive Director of the Center for
Innovation and Entrepreneurship at SCU.
Magnus brings over ten years of supply chain management and demand
planning experience focused in semiconductor and high-tech, where he has
applied advanced analytics, quality management, process improvement, and
software solutions to deliver order of magnitude performance improvements.
Under his leadership, a supply management organization for a leading
semiconductor company quadrupled its realized cost savings, a distribution
operation reduced inventory by more than a third, and an outsourced
relationship successfully scaled from inception to over $2 billion.
Leveraging proven frameworks, processes, and analytic techniques, the
results are delivered to last.
Magnus has contributed to the creation of a new software category focused
on supply chain visibility and control as director of product management
at seeCommerce. He advanced the application of forecasting and inventory
management in the field of retail as a director of client operations at
Nonstop Solutions. As a Site Manager for AMD’s supply management
organization, he developed and led a strategic sourcing and commodity
management organization, and was an early adapter of e-procurement
solutions. He also managed the logistics operations for a European
importer and distributor.
Experience spans strategic sourcing, commodity management, material
control, new product introduction, forecasting, and distribution in
leadership positions with AMD, Nonstop Solutions, and seeCommerce. Magnus
attained a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Rice University and a MBA
from Arizona State University. Certified with distinction from Sigma
Collage. Published white papers on supply chain performance management and
supply chain data integration.
John brings over 10 years of software development experience applying
emerging software technologies to create innovative solutions. John has
designed and built a number of large-scale enterprise applications and
XML-based distributed application frameworks. During his professional
career he has worked with a range of programming platforms from Java J2EE
to Microsoft's .NET Framework to produce Web applications, Web services,
enterprise applications, and integration solutions.
As Director of Engineering at SpinCircuit, John was responsible for
architecting, building, and delivering key products that facilitated
inter-enterprise Design for Supply Chain in
the electronics industry. This included collaboration tools, content
management tools for electronic component information, and an online Web
portal that searches electronic component data and places schematic
symbols into EDA products. Recently,
Director of Engineering at BetaSphere, a product lifecycle management
solutions company, John was responsible for the design and development of
a multi-tiered enterprise application that captures, manages, and analyzes
new product requirements.
John's industry exposure includes conference presentations, multiple
publications, and an upcoming book
entitled, "Developing .NET Enterprise Applications" (Apress Publishing).
John has a BS in Computer Science from San Jose State University

& management, engineering data collection, SPC, specification management,
and performance reporting. In addition to managing the industry-leading
product in MES (Manufacturing Execution System), WorkStream, and
delivering multiple releases of the same, Shantha led the team that
created the state of the art MES called FAB300 for fully-automated fabs,
starting with securing funding for the R&D of this product from NIST
(National Institute of Standards & Technology)) to technical selection of
the commercialized product by a major semiconductor company. Shantha was
instrumental in the setting up of the offshore development capabilities
